Digital Comprehensive Vehicle Inspection (CVI)
At Honest-1 Eagan East, our priority is to ensure every customer comprehends their vehicle's status before making decisions regarding any proposed maintenance or repairs. To achieve this, we conduct a Comprehensive Vehicle Inspection (CVI), providing the results to our customers digitally via email or text. Think of it as a "health check" or a "report card" for their vehicle.
We assign a color code - purple, red, orange, yellow, or green - to each inspected item to provide customers with a comprehensive "digital report card" of their vehicle's condition. Should customers wish to consult with friends or relatives, the digital CVI can be easily forwarded. Occasionally, the report includes an instructional video relevant to our recommendation. Additionally, the Services section of our website hosts numerous educational videos to help our customers make informed decisions.
We use "red" to denote urgent conditions that may compromise your safety. "Orange" highlights conditions that may put you at risk for a vehicle breakdown. In the case of "red" or "orange" we urge customers to address these today or as soon as possible. We use "purple" for findings related to any specific concern you asked us to look into during your visit. "yellow" refers to recommended maintenance items that aren't immediate but necessary over time, based on either observed conditions or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) suggested maintenance schedule. With this information, we hope customers can plan and budget effectively to address these issues in the near future. "Green" indicates that the inspected item is functioning correctly.
Alongside the color-coded system, we attach photos, videos, or animations to the report to explain our recommendations further. In essence, the Digital CVI embodies our commitment to honesty and transparency, which ensures we meet our promise to our customers in every interaction.
