Had been having issues with another shop and was at wits end. They not only couldn't diagnose it correctly but kept charging me for the mistakes THEY were making. I called Honest 1 and the manager didn't tell me what he thought it was, even though I pushed for a diagnosis over the phone, (which now I see as funny with all the problems I was describing), instead he asked me to get it into the shop and let his master technician check it out. As it wasn't drivable they arranged for a tow and within an hour they had a diagnosis and the repair was competed the same day. Turns out it was a corroded wire under the fuse panel and was "common" on my car. The whole thing including the tow was 1/4 th of what I spent at the other location and my car actually was fixed. Thanks guys!!!

Honest 1 is a top notch place to bring your vehicles. Customer service and the knowledge of the mechanics is amazing, I always feel comfortable waiting since everyone is so friendly. The Eagan location is super conveniently located, and they have always been able to get me in quickly whenever I've needed. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else, they make sure you know cost ahead of time so there aren't ever any negative surprises and they really know their stuff!

I have nothing short of positive things to say about this shop! I went in with a overheating issue. One that i have tried to fix myself, I did everything possible and couldnt fix it. I thought it was the water pump so I brought it in to have them fix it. Apparently it was just an air bubble in my line probably by the thermostat. A problem which i thought was going to cost me hundreds and would have paid hundreds. Was fixed for under $100. Very honest people and they do quality work! Highly recommend!!!

Very helpful staff and great customer service. They try to up sell you on a lot of services like most mechanics. They even left a bag of pretzels in my car as a thank you. Great spot.

I had an appointment and they were ready for me when I arrived. They replaced my worn brakes and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. In fact, they did their best to keep the cost as low as possible. They even gave me a discount that I had forgotten to ask about. There's nothing better than finding a car repair shop you can trust, and this is one of them. They've definitely earned my trust and I'll be coming back with any future repair needs.
